Is This Mommy/daddy-to-be Paranoid? Posted: 10-09-05 19:52pm
My wife just entered her fourth month of
pregnancy, and she's really stressed out
because her stomach, which had been
tightening as it enlarged (something to do
with the uterus, i'm told), is suddenly
much softer. She has no symptoms of
miscarriage, but we are concerned
nevertheless. We have our regular
doctor's appointment on wednesday, but
need some peace before then. Are we just
being overly paranoid, especially since
our friend just found out she miscarried
at 19 months?
Thanks for the advice and help!

19 months? Maybe you mean weeks??
Anyway, your wife probably has nothing to
worry about. If she is not cramping or
bleeding and is already 4 months then she
prob is fine. You can take her for a u/s
in emerg if you're really worried, but
they will ask if she's bleeding and stuff.
Good luck.

Yes, I meant weeks, not months! Lol!
Oooops!
Anyway, i'm sure everything is fine, I
think we're just worried for no reason and
want everything to be okay. It's like
she said this morning..."i have to pee
every 10 minutes, my clothes don't fit, I
have a belly, my boobs are bigger, and
i've had no signs of a miscarriage, I
think that means i'm still pregnant." :)

Ya, it's probably pregnancy paranoia, I
know at the begining there are days when
your stomach feels bigger. I'm sure
she's fine.
