I have a sister in law that needs a lot of help and I am hopeing someone out there can help me help her?

My sister in law just had her baby well the baby is now a month old and she is telling me that she can't get a peternity test for four to six months... Is this true??? Or was she told wrong information or is she just telling people that so she doesn't have to go through this whole process???
I love her very much but she's not the most relable person ever .....

I guess I am wondering how soon someone can get a peternity test if the father is denying the child? And does anyone know the process on how to so this so that I can help her. Thank you in advance

As far as I know, paternity testing can be done anytime. I know someone who had it done before the baby left the hospital. They usually just do a swab of the inside of the cheek...So you may have been told a story.

The father should get himself a lawyer experienced in paternity issues, and demand one from the mother. That's how I would do it.

Paternity Test
Hey

paternity tests can be done at any age, I have actually heard of stories of it being done while still in uterus through something like amnio. Pat tests do cost but if she really believe he is the father tell her to get it done, she may be worried about his family so you may want to dig in deeper.
