To all of you who have the ability to have real debate without the b.S. I have a good idea. Now it will only work if we all do it and stick to it....If we can. We all need to just completely ignore the disrespectful, name calling posts. It's just out of hand. All our "debates" consist of is slandering back in forth about peoples families, children, name calling, personal insults, and down right cruel behavior. So if all of those posts are completely ignored and not responded to we might be able to actually get some where. We can focus only on the posts that have substance rather than get into these stupid arguments all the time. It's just an idea, i'm sure it won't work, but i'm hopeful...We can at least try.

That is a good idea, one that was tried in the post "shoneen" board. We are trying our best in that board to leave out the negative talk. There are a few people however, that make this task difficult. By encouraging the people that post within that board I am hoping that we can eventually get negative, insulting people to stay out. It has to be reminded though b/c abortion is such a "hot" topic, that people easily get heated in the debate and it's easy to start calling names and make it more personal.

i'm up for it :) it's actaully not that hard to ignore the certain bitter posters. ;)

I would like to be positive and would hope it would be a go but someone needs to start it over fresh and clean because you have seen what happened so far and the past. What about brianbaby she has some sense. Or someone that is more open minded and understanding.

I'm sorry but I think "shoneen" board isn't too bad. Although not originally created to start a debate, there is a decent one going on in there. A few problems at the beginning with the typical, stillhere, but as for right now that has passed and things are going decently.

Where I live pp is not as expensive as going to your family practicioner but it is not as cheap as a free clinic either. For me to go get the depo it cost $70 which was expensive to me b/c I had no job, however it was much cheaper then an abortion or raising another child as a single parent. The pp's here do offer abortions at certain clinics.
