What Are the Signs of Skin Cancer In Its First Stages? Posted: 10-11-05 13:17pm
Oops...Looks like this ended up in the
women's sexual health forum. Lol. I must
have been drifting off...Anyway, here it
is...Anyone with an idea feel free to
comment...
Two days ago I noticed a little brown spot
on my left arm on the upper side near my
elbow. It looked like a mole and I
thought it was a scab because it was so
small (the size of a pinhead). Today it
is a light tan color and the brown has
disappeared. It is still really
small...About half the size of a pencil
eraser...And it will not come off. I
tried scratching it like a scab to see if
it was nothing serious, but it won't come
off and it looks strange. Does cancer
grow that fast? Double the size in two
days. Does it just sound like a little
sore? I'll update it. Keeping an eye on
it...Any opinions would be nice

I Have the Same Posted: 01-11-06 09:50am
I found a small brown/pink mark on my left
arm as well, about 5cm away from my bcg
injection scar. I first noticed it last
week when it was itchy for 2 days. But
now it doesn't, it is slightly raised, but
I haven't really paid any attention to it,
so i'm not sure if its grown.

Get it checked out! I had a mole on my
leg that has been there since I was young
and then it changed. Basically it
changed to two-tone color. Nothing like
the photographs I have seen. I went to
my doctor who referred me to a
dermotologist who took a biopsy. It was
cancer. Had surgery in august and
thankfully it was the very first stage so
I did not need further treatment. Now I
have to watch for the rest of my life.
So when in doubt check it out! Please.
