Hi I am new here and confused with some
symptoms I have been having. Just to let
everyone know I am 28 years old, I was
recently diagnosed with esophagitis, gerd,
and chronic gastritis. I do have sores
around the opening of my stomach and in my
esophagus, which is not good, and with a
upper endoscopy, I was rated at a grade b,
garde d being the worst.
Anyhow, since last week I have been
throwing up, onyl what I eat for the
evening, that could be snacks ,dinner what
have you. I also started my menstrual
cycle a week early, I do have cramps in
the lower area for that which is normal,
the stomach pains I have been getting with
the vomiting has been in the upper area
near the ribs. I found out that's where I
get the pain for gastritis as well. I am
not really sure if it's the gastritis or
the menstrual period??
Does anyone have chronic gastritis, if so
does this happen to you often? Also, I am
on a mild does of protonix, 40mg, the
higher dose 80mg gave me very bad
headaches, and extreme fatigue, so I put
myself on the 40mg only, and have been
taking it for two weeks? That's also
questionable as well.
Now I do see my new gi doctor this friday
at 9:30am in the morning, so that's a
relief. Any suggestions would be great!!
