Hi I have a 11 month old baby and he won't fall asleep on his own. If I put him down to sleep while he is tired he will wake right back up and want to play even tho he is tired. I give him a bath then I give him his bottle then I let his bottle digest for an hour then I go to put him to sleep but he won't go as soon as I put him down he plays for a while then starts to cry. And I let him cry for a few minutes then he starts to scream and over cry then he won't fall asleep. So I pick him up after 15 minutes or so after he crys and I put him in his car seat and put him in the stroller then he will fall right to sleep in a minute of pushing him in the stroller. I am now expecting my second baby next month and I can't keep pushing my 11 month old in his stroller for him to fall asleep expecally with another baby comming next month I need some help on what I should do I need him to fall asleep on his own but every time I try to put him down for his nap or at night to go to bed he won't fall asleep on his own I need help please can anyone help me he is almost a year old and I still need to push him in the stroller to fall asleep :( should I put a night light in his room? I do the same thing every night I give him a bath and I put him to sleep at the same time every night and sometimes after I put him to sleep he will wake up a hour after screaming I want to get him off of his pacifier as well because everytime he falls asleep with his pacifier he wakes up a hour or so after screaming because his pacifier fell out of his mouth and when I put it back in his mouth he falls back to sleep does anyone have any suggestions for me please help me thanks

Maybe try a different routine with him if that one isn't working. I have a two month old and we feed him right before he goes to bed and then he falls asleep with his binky in his mouth.

Um, try playing light music in the backround to help sooth him also!

Hey savannah

I had the same issue with my daughter, she started sleeping through the night at 7 wks and for some reason at 9 mths decided she would start waking up again.

One thing I did was let her scream and if you feel bad stay at the door but dont let them see you. Reason babies scream tantrum, bored, tired or they hurt themselves. Another thing make sure there a night lite in the room my daughter doesnt like darkness or leave the window slightly open. Dont give him any food before bed and put to bed with bottle if you have too, another thing to try take all the toys away. You have to make them understand the crib isnt a play place I refuse to give my daughter toys now............................I know all this stuff is a bit blunt but sometimes we have to be with kids

Sleeping Problems
I babysit for a "living" (spending cash only) and the mother has a subscription to both babytalk and parents magazine. I only read them when the baby is asleep. But I was flipping through it just a few minutes ago and there is an article titled "63 sleep tips." (for kids) and I just happened to remember your request for tips. I checked the website but not very thoroughly (because this computer is slow and I have no patience for a stupid computer, I save all that for the baby.. Which can be tested sometimes). But there is an article of at least 15 sleep tips. I hope that helps some. Go check it out! Parents and babytalk has given me so much information in the past few months and I don't even have a child (not expecting either, my sister is now though).
