Hi everyone,

i gave birth almost 6 weeks ago, and I stopped bleeding last week.. But now, I started bleeding again like 3 days ago.. It's a really dark red color and there are times its bright red.. I would sometimes feel pain on my clitoris c", did anyone had the same experience? Or is this something I have to be concerned of..

It oculd be your first period. I didn't give birth vaginally so i'm not too sure of the whole pain on the clit thing.

I don't know if that would be your period now or not. Bleeding for 5 weeks is a long time, and then starting up again, so soon. Have you done anything extra strenuous?

I only bled for 3 weeks, and got my first period when he was 11-12 weeks old.

I would go to your doctor, or call a health nurse.

As far as the pain. I delivered naturally, but tore backwards, towards my problem.

Did you tear frontwards? That could be it

I see blood on top of my pads and some in the middle.. Maybe that's probably it... My rectum bleeds whenever I go.. Lol... Which is really painful... Maybe they stitched it too tight that my butthole (sorry) got narrow.. I'll talk to my doctor on my 6th week postpartum check up next week...
