Linden Method Posted: 10-18-05 19:12pm
Hi bluetang,
i am currently doing the linden method.
I have only just started so (10 days in)
so I am unsure whether it is working or
not yet. I suffer mildly from anxiety.
Since starting the method I have stopped
my medication - I was only on .25mg on
xanax once or twice daily! It has been 6
days without any medication and I feel
great.
I have a sinus infection at the moment so
that has me a little run down, but once I
am over that I am sure that this will
work. He knows what we go through as he
went through it for years.
It cost me $260.00 au. And it has 12
months money back - so why not try it!
Take care and let me know if you get it
and how it works for you

the linden method? Thanks.

In short:
you get a folder which contains
information on his life and experiences.
There are 9 pillars, each pillar contains
a topic that you must include in your
everyday life. You do one pillar each
day for 9 days then you implement them!
It is hard an example of a pillar is -
stop researching your condition. Another
is stop leaning on other people!
There are also relaxation cd's that you
put on before you go to bed or when you
are feeling a little anxious. A tia chi
dvd, a panic stopper cd - you listen to
this while having a panic attach, I
haven't had to listen to it.
So that is a breif summary.
It willnot sure your anxiety totally just
shows you and taches you how tyo divert
your thoughts when you are feeling
anxious
if you want any more email me

Regarding Linden Method Posted: 12-27-05 20:47pm
Just wanted to let those who were
enquiring about the linden method know
that it does help alot. The only catch
is that you need to follow it exactly as
it says, which is kind of hard at first
but it really does pay off. I was
agorophobic and now I am able to work and
go out. Yes I do have my off days where
I feel crappy but I know that I won't die
from the way I feel or even a panic
attack. Basically what panic attacks
are, are a combination of factors. Lack
of self esteem, negative thinking (big
time), food allergies/sensitivities,
mineral and vitamin deficiencies and
improper breathing and posture. It takes
work, time and patience but isn't it worth
it if you get rid of it for good? I think
so! A good book to read that will also
help you is lucinda bassett "from panic to
power"!!!! She's had it and now doesn't
and she opened up a clinic and is helping
others get through it. Anyone can
overcome this situation but we need to
change our life style and most importantly
our thinking patterns. She believes that
our thoughts create our panic and she is
absolutely correct!!!
Ciao and all the best, good luck with your
panic-free, anxiety-free life!!!!

I am currently trying it out.It really
spells out what anxiety & panic
attacks are.I am experiencing some relieve
but just got it a week
ago.If privacy isn't an issue I would
recommend the download
version as it is $97 u.S. While the
printed version mailed is $187 u.S.
I like the way you can pay in 4 payments
as well as the 12 month
guarantee. The key with the linden method
is that your anxiety level
gets set a bit higher and through positive
thinking,proper breathing
and diversional thoughts/actions during
attacks will eventually bring
your anxiety level down. I figure it's
worth a shot.

Hi
i tried the linden method and yes to a
certain extent it does help and is very
informative and reassuring however I sent
mine back. Why? For a start I don`t
think it`s right to be promised all these
wonderful things and you should definately
not have to pay to get well again. If it
was a physical problem you wouldn`t expect
to pay for it.
I don`t believe there is anything in it
that will change your life, its only you
tha can get you better and that is
essentially what linden is saying. There
is no miracle cure the rules or pillars
you have to follow are basic common
sense.
It`s good to reassure you but it`s a lot
of money to end up leaving on a shelf.
I have got much better all on my own. I
would suggest anything by claire weekes
they are much more helpful.

span class="postbody">It sounds to me as
though the Linden method is little more
than a money-making exercise.
I truly believe that the only cure for
anxiety is to find the strength and
courage from within to stand up to
anxiety.
I would recommend The Anxiety and Phobia
Handbook though. Very helpful.

It basically takes established methods and
brands them under his own name and marks
up the price. You would be better served
buying a cbt book and doing the exercises
on your own if you want lasting relief.
Cbt has changed my life more than I ever
thought anything could. I highly recommend
cbt for panic, anxiety and depression. The
book we used in my group called Been
there, done that? Do this! By sam obitz
has an exercise called the tea form in it
that is excellent. Start doing the tea
form exercise and once you get the hang of
it you will make great strides in fighting
your anxiety. You need to spend a little
time each day on them as you are trying to
replace your old ways of thinking with
this new way that will eliminate most of
your anxiety. Take care and know you can
get better if you learn to think more
objectively about your symptoms through
the cbt exercises. Good luck!
