:( I just got back from my 3 day stay at
the hospital. Went to er with extreme
pain in ruq and epigastric areas. Us was
normal, so was cat scan, but when they did
my hida, it was only 2.9 ! ! ! ! They
consulted with a surgeon who refused to do
it, because I didnt have stones, or an
enlarged gb or something. I thought the
hida scan result was evidence enough. I
have an appt with a ge in 3 wks... But
that seems so far away to be in this pain
! ! Any advice would be helpful.

If it is gallbladder problems, then all I
can suggest is to limit your fat intake
dramatically which will help and maybe
take some pain meds. I hope your appt
goes well.

I was sick for about a year gas pains
bad upper stomach pain felt like I was
hit in the upper stomach. I did have
many small gallstones. The ultra sound
showed the gb wall ws not thick or my gb
enlarged. The hcan scan I got 100% best
they said they ever seen. But I had
my gallbladder removed about 4 weeks ago.
I am 100% better now. The gb is a
funny organ anything bad about it will
cause you problems.

i did not have stones, but my doctor
removed mine in august. Keep searching
for the right doctor.
