Has Anyone Had This Happen Posted: 10-15-05 15:55pm
I've posted this before. I have more
questions. For those women who had there
period durring there pregnancy. How long
did it take to show up on a pregnancy
test. I'm on my 2nd month of a really
wierd cycle. I've taken a bunch of home
pregnancy tests and had one done by my
doctor. They have all been negative. But
there has been so many strange things
going on. Last month I had bleeding for 3
weeks. And now i'm not supposed to start
my next period for another 2 weeks and I
started bleeding again. I've been going
nuts for 2 months thinking i'm pregnant,
then thinking i'm not. Is it possible or
am I overreacting?

Hey I started bleeding right around the
time that I was supposed to get my period
(in august) I am still bleeding now.
I went to the doc b/c of what I thought
was an irregular period and they took an
urine test and told me that I am pregnant.
Still, to confirm, they sent me to get an
ultrasound done and I got the surprise of
my life!
My little baby was in there and I heard
the heartbeat (i was 7weeks 4days at the
time)
i don't know the exact problem that I am
having since I still have not seen my ob
(still waiting for my first appointment)
but from my research I think I might have
some problems with my placenta. I have
been bleeding for 2 months straight now.
Have you been feeling nausea or sore
breasts?
Has your tummy grown?

I have had nausea off and on. I've been
getting these dizzy spells (which is
normal, because I have low blood
preassure) i've been on a weight loss
program since january and for the past
couple of months its been extreemly hard
to lose weight. I've been retaining a lot
of water. Like I said, i've taken alot of
pregnancy tests, and they have all come up
negative. I've noticed certin foods are
making me want to vomit. Seems to be
mostly really greasy stuff.

Have you had a blood test done? (i suffer
from low blood pressure also)
sometimes pregnancy tests don't read that
you are pregnant until later on.
If you haven't had any bloodwork done to
see if you're pregnant than I suggest you
ask for one. Either way it would be
helpful to find out.
If you are pregnant maybe it's not the
best time to be in a weight loss program
(especially if it's one that deprives you
of some things that you might need during
your pregnancy) and depending on your diet
it might throw your body off a little and
make you feel a little dizzy more often.
I really suggest to have bloodtests done
and ask your doctor for an ultrasound. If
you are pregnant you need to know soon,
and if the bleeding is being caused by
something else than you also need to find
out soon.
I really hope you get answers (i know what
it's like not to get answers from the
docs)

Yes I did have a blood test about 2 weeks
ago. It was negative. At that point I
would have only been 3 weeks. But my
blood preassure is usually low. It runs
in my family. The weight loss program I
am on is more about eating a more balanced
diet. Its not a real depriving one. Its
pretty well built off of the food pyramid.
Since its a weekend I can't call my
doctor until tomorrow. But when I talked
to her last month she told me that if the
same thing happened in this month to call
her and make an appointment.
