Probability of Twins? Posted: 10-15-05 22:10pm
I hope this isn't in the wrong forum!
I heard a rumor that the probability of
having twins skips a generation. For
example: my grandparents had twins- my two
uncles. This would mean (in theory) the
higher probability would skip their
generation and affect mine. I was
wondering if any of you have heard about
this. Is it true? Bogus?
Thanks

Some times yes, sometimes every
generation. My first husbands mother was
a twin and my father was a twin. As far
as I know I had no twins(i miscarried 6
times) I have 3 singletons. But my
children for sure will probably have
twins. Only 2 singleton grandchildren so
far.
