I was just wondering what you were taking
for a liver supplement. When I first was
diagnosed with the Hep-C, I immediately
started on Maximum Milk Thistle. My
orginal specialist had no problem with it,
but his replacement (whom I do NOT like at
ALL) told me to stop taking EVERYTHING,
including basice one-a-day type vitamins.
my red blood cell level is elevated and he
wanted to make sure I was not taking
anything that could be causing it (excess
iron, etc.). I am cured now and have been
off interferon for almost a year now.
When I was on it, both red and white blood
cells drop to near zero, so he was
concerned why now my reds are going up. I
was just curious as to the liver
supplement. I am considering starting
back on the milk thistle just as a
precautionary measure especially since I
don't have a gallbladder anymore and my
liver could be getting stressed.

My gallbladder was removed a 7 days ago
and I haven't had any unusual problems
afterwards. It was removed because it
wasn't functioning properly. All of the
diagnostic tests came out OK, but during
the HIDA scan I experienced the pain I've
been having for quite some time. The
ejection fraction was normal, however. I
haven't driven any except for a brief
errand I had to run. I'm still taking pain
medication and resting alot. My
gallbladder wasn't the right color and was
covered with lesions according to what my
doctor told my husband. My post-operative
office visit is tomorrow. I'm looking
forward to seeing the pictures/video of
the procedure and talking to my surgeon
about the procedure.

Hi
I had my gallbladder removed on the 22nd
May. The doctor signed me off work for two
weeks. I have two children also.
I have got to say after two days i felt
absoloutely fabulous. Was still a little
sore getting about but i was back at work
after a week .
Havign the operation was the best thing i
ever did and im so glad i can get on with
my life now.
Of course everone is different so everyone
as different recovery speeds but i would
advise to get up and about as much as
possible to speed up recovery. I think
thats why i felt so great so quickly.

now listen to this im a vegatarian thin in
shape all the good stuff never sick a day
in my life.never in my life have i eaten
fried foods meat or drive through.i
noticed a lump on the right side of my
stomach 6 months ago went to the doc she
thought it was ovian cancer i said no way
then went to the obgyn got a sona gram he
did not know what the lump was... did know
my gallbladder was done,,and all my female
stuff was in great shape off to the
surgeon met him love him so i set
everything up alot of tests.not fun but
you know sometimes you just got to make
the best of things and in just a few
minutes later it just is not that big of a
deal.had my removal 4 days ago and the
lump was a 5 pound water cyst all is gone
i feel great eating my veggies and sweet
pot no butter or marg lite italian
dressing ive gone to the bathroom and all
is good. so hope this helps someone.i feel
great.
