I have never gotten pregnant while on the shot. I've had symptoms a couple times, but they were b/c of the mix of hormones, I was on other meds at the times. I've known one person that got pregnant on the shot, she was the type to embelish though so I really don't know if it was the truth.

Even though we havnt used a condom in over 2 months, and i'm due for the next shot... I've had some break through bleeding

Okay, at risk of making myself sound horrible, i'm going to divulge this. I got on the shot at the age of 17 and was on it until shortly after I turned 19. During that time, I had a steady boyfriend and we never used a condom, I would bleed during the last few days at the end of each shot, and I never got pregnant. After I got off the shot I started my period 7 months later, and got pregnant two months after I started. After I had my daughter I got back on the shot and have been on it since, so that's nearly four years and I have never gotten pregnant. I still spot every now and then, and usually when my shot is due. There was a short time where I was off the shot in the last four years, I didn't get pregnant at that time either (no I didn't use any other type of protection).

Oh, I have to tell ya' this too. I was unemployed and w/o insurance for like 7 months so I couldn't get the shot. I got pregnant during that time, but I miscarried, I had been shot free for 6 months at the time of conception.
