Hi jamie*lynn....Congratulations!
I'm 13 weeks pregnant now and know exactly
how you are feeling. The attitude I
took was that everything happens for a
reason, and you should just let nature
take it's course. If mother nature or
god or whoever you believe
in...Fate...Wants you to have this baby,
then you will. I took the attitude
that there is no point in worrying about
things, as you can't stop things from
happening. But you can take as much
care of yourself as possible.
I stopped lifting things and moving things
that were heavey. As far as I
understand, your bubs is just finding a
cosy little corner and needs to
settle....Up until the 13th week, your
second trimester, there is a chance that
bubs could become detached and a
miscarrage could occur....So take it easy,
keep relaxed, don't get stressed (as this
will tense you up) and just go with the
flow!
If I had any pains in my tummy, I would
finish work and get home to put my feet
up. You should start feeling really
sleepy soon, and I think this is a way of
making you slow down. I couldn't keep
my eyes open past 9pm...Which was really
strange as I don't go to sleep much before
12 usually.
Good luck, take it easy, and just try to
enjoy your pregnancy without stressing.
Xx
