Alright, to start off, I am new at this forum. I have been to many other forums, but it seems that they are all about games. I am hoping someone can truly help me with the issues I am having. This might be a little long, but I thank the ones that spend the time reading it.

Alright, I am now 23 days late for my period!!! I was having sex in the beginning of the month of aug. To the beginning of sept. In aug. After having sex, I received my period, ( on the same day I usually get it, on the 28th, regular 7 day flow, everything was normal). However, I was continuing having sex, even when I was bleeding. Since the start of my period in aug., my boobs have been sore and still have been since. They swell, itch, twigging feeling, just over all, uncomfortable pain. This pain is not consistent, but I must say, comes ever so often. Never the less, that was, I should say, the first feeling of pregnancy I had. I actually didn't think to much into pregnancy until I was explaining the uncomfortable pain I was having in my breast area that someone asked the question " could you be pregnant?". I really wasn't thinking that much into it but it was always in the back of my head. I figured alright, I am going to wait until I get my period and see if I don't, then alight then il go from there. Well, on sept. 23rd. I came home from an outing and I used the restroom. When I whiped, I seen the brightest coloring. Bright pink!!! I didn't know what was going on. This bright coloring, which led to bright red and pink, continued for about three days. I was scared to death, because one, the coloring was horrible and was something I have never experienced in my life. And also, I was a week before my period, so I shouldn't of had any sign of bleeding. Well, when my period was suppose to stroll around, guess what? It didn't! I was scared, after seeing that bright coloring of blood, I thought something might be wrong with me. I waited about a week or so, and went to the $ store and bought two cheap tests. It was late in the afternoon when I took the first one, which in less then 5 seconds, resulted in a negative. I was shocked, because since the time frame of my boobs beginning to swell, and the time I took the first test, I was having many symtoms of pregnancy. Frequent urination, eating habits have increased, tiredness, back aches, head aches, sometimes nausea, cramping in my tummy area( something like a pulling sensation) and also the feel of ocean waves in my stomah( wich that was off and on) just many of the symptoms you would think of, I was having. Well, I waited another week or so, watching to see if I recieved any sign of bleeding, nothing! I then took the spare preg tests that I bought and made sure I took it in the morning. It resulted in a positive about 15 second compared to the first one, which was less then 5, but soon faded into a negative reading! I didn't know what to take that as. That left me more confused then anything. I was talking to a couple people and they said that you should take it as a negative but it could of been a positive but just the cheap brands are not good enough. So I had been watching my doings since then. Taking good care of myself, more then doing just at the thought of pregnancy. I waited about 5 working days and I went and bought a first response early hpt. I took it in the morning, and it appeared negative. I just do not get it, because I am so late now, and still have not received any signs of bleeding, and I still have the same symptoms. What is going on? I have an extra first response test, when should I take it? Could there be a chance I am in fact preg? Has any one been through this experience before and resulted into a positive, healthy pregnancy? Someone help me out, thank you so much. Again, sorry for this post being so long. Thanks again to all!

I think you might have to go to a doctor with this one. 3 negative tests are pretty conclusive-although, i've seen a lot of women on this forum get a few negatives before finally testing opsitive, but that's usually because they are testing too early. 23 days late should not be too early.

You should definately see a doctor, who could determine whether you are pregnant and if not, find out what's causing the problems.

Make an appointment to see someone, and have a check-up.

Good luck.

Thank you so much for your comment. I have actually made an apt with my Dr. In about a week or so. But the apt is for a gyno. Which I need to go to as well, but i'm really desiring a full, head to toe checkup)!

I have herd plenty of stories that a gyno can/can not tell if you are preg by a paps. I truly do not know the accurate answer so what I was planing on doing, is taking the last test that I have and no mater what the result would turn up, go to the Dr. And get a check up. I really would like to have that last test be dealt with, and see what answer appears. I guess you can say, just for the fun of it. I find these tests interesting because when my mother was pregnant with me, she went to the dr( being 2 weeks late for her cycle) and requested a blood draw. On her way home, for the hell of it, she picked up a home preg test kit which she did the next morning and resulted into a negative. A couple days late, she received the blood results and hear I am today. Do you think that there is a chance that if I am in fact pregnant, the accurate answer wouldn't appear because I had bleeding? Never the less, do you think that if I am in fact pregnant, I could have a healthy pregnancy? Yes, I completely understand that I need to see a physician and ask away with my questions but until then, id like to ask away with my questions and concerns on a forum of this type. Thank you again.

I am three months pregnant and I have been bleeding for over 2months now, so bleeding doesn't necessarily affect the results of a pregnancy if you are pregnant.

As for something you said about a little pains like "pulling" I experienced that also quite a bit at the beginning and a little here and there now.

I would suggest to have the doctor take a blood test and ask if you can have an ultrasound done (i had one done two days after I found out because they wanted to make sure my baby was still in there and alive)

sometimes pinkish coloured blood or brownish colored blood can mean implantation bleeding. This usually occurs close to the time when you should be getting your period (maybe a few days early) bleeding can sometimes cause miscarriage if it comes with bad cramps or bloodclots or it could mean a threatened miscarrieage (which is what I have) where the only thing they can tell me is to take it easy and get plenty of rest. That means no working, excersice or heavy lifting.

Those are the probable signs of pregnancy that I am aware of when you have had bleeding, and since you have missed your period please go see a doctor asap to find out it is not good to stress out or worry over things like this.

I hope this helped, let us know how you are doing

Ok, gyno question first..
My friend actually found out she was pregnant with her first daughter at her bi-annual pap smear test, so yep, I guess they can tell.
The test thing, well, sometimes they can show a negative if there is not enough hormone to test in urine yet- like if uit's too early, or the urine is dilute-like if you've had a lot of water to drink etc. That's why they advise you do it first thing in the morning, when the urine is concentrated (under the asumption that you didn't drink a litre of water during the night iof course !!)
and yes it's not unusual to bleed during pregnancy, anything from light spotting to an almost normal period is not unco9mmon- my freind is pregnant with her 2nd, in both pregnancies, she had a last period, when she was actually two weeks pregnant already.
I say good call with the full check up, especially if you are going to go no matter what result you get from the test- it never does any harm to have a check up.

Fingers crosed for you
