I'm so scared I need someones advice. If
you have any please let me know.
On sept. 23 I had unprotected sex with
this boy. Its now oct. 19 and i'm
feeling a little scared. 2 days after
having sex with this boy I get a uti
(urinary tract infection) I get that cured
and tha doctor said if the medicine works
well I will get a yeast infection from the
medication, and that happened. Now all of
that is over with and I keep thinkin that
I have hiv. I guess its just my nerves or
something but sometimes I think that my
throat is starting to hurt. I think its
all in my head cuz when I dont think about
it I dont feel like that. I just think
like that when i'm by myself. I've gotten
sick 2 times im allergic to smoke so thats
probably why i've been around people who
smokes which gave me a (stuffed up nose,
watery eyes, coughing etc. Nothing major)
it happened while I was with these smokers
it went away the next day. Also i've been
tired lately. Im so scared cuz im only 17
years old please help somebody.

This is why having protected sex leaves a
comfort zone. If you are really worried
about it, you could simply ask him if he
knows whether or not if he has hiv, or you
can go and get tested.

I Think Youre Worried to the Hell's Limits Posted: 10-24-05 21:08pm
I see you dear friend that you are all the
more worried due to the incident. Please
leave your worries to a confidence and get
tested if you want to be sure.
Hiv has no specific symptoms, nor symptoms
always cannot be related to hiv. The only
way to get rid of it from our mind is to
get tested at the end of 3 months (window
period).
You could have got all those symptoms that
you had specified even before, but now,
the incident makes you think that its
specifically due to the virus. But the
answer is no. Most people who get
infected never realise any symptoms at all
until their immune system comes down.
And most people who report back with
symptoms never have the virus in them.
Its just the fear that makes it like an
elephant. Cheer up and get up and get
tested.
