It's dangerous to you and the fetus to get pregnant right away. Yes, you are most fertile after, but can cause major probs if you do end up preggo. A friend of mine got pregnant almost right away and at almost 5 months realized the baby had not grown much and had died in her stomach, it was removed by operation. Another one I know got pregnant almost right away and the baby was born prematurely and has lots of probs.

I didn't know that jess. That's pretty scary.
Is it because your body hasn't had enough time to heal?

to me it is common sense that it's not good to become pregnant right away. Pregnancy is a major thing, you just pushed a baby through your body. That takes a toll.

Definetely not a good idea to get pregnant right way. I had my scare about a month after I had my son. Thank .God it was only a scare. In my opinion it's good to give it at least a year. ;o)

ya look what happened to max.

i didn't think it would be the best thing to do right after you deliver, but I wasn't aware that there could be bad health problems for either the mother or baby.

Not Just Medical Problems.
Think how badly it would suck to have a 1 year old and a 3 month old at the same time. That's too much work at once. My mom got pregnant with my little brother when my little sister was 5 or 6 months old. He ended up not bonding with her as a baby (youngest of 4 kids, raised by a single mother, and really close in age to older sister, which meant mom had her hands full). So now he's like a sociopath.

that I completely understand, having children close in age. If you read what lil_blaze wrote above she stated for health reasons, that I wasn't aware of.

Extremely eHealthy
I got prego when my daughter was 7/8 mths and I have complications the dr informed me that because I didnt wait the full year I could end up having a preemie. I dont want to scare anyone but usually after having one they want you to wait at least a year so your body heals completely.

I'm going to the drs/ultrasound tommorrow to see if my placenta has moved but I highly doubt it, they are watching me on a two week basis for other complications but im almost 27 weeks and survival after that is supposed to be pretty good.

Take it easy, everyone reacts differently to pregnancy, im just one of the unlucky people lol!!
