I'm 18 going on 19 and recently my boyfriend(21) and I have been talking about marriage and a child. We're both in college, work, and live together. We're not rushing because we want a life or our child. We don't want to bring a baby in this world and have to depend on our parents for help. (who both his and mine would be very supportive even if it happend now.) everything sounds good right??? Well since I was in my early teens my two oldest sisters became young mothers so my dad put me on birth control to prevent me from making the same mistake. His worst fear happend i'm allergic to every kind out there. So when it comes to sex i've always been safe. Until now!!! My boyfriend and I have been having unprotective sex for a year now and nothing. Every month my period still hits me. I've gotten to the point where I cry thinking I may never be able to have a child of my own. :( all my friends have kids, which makes me sick because most of them don't even take care of their children. If anyone out there is going through the same thing or anyone can help me make my dream come true please reply.

Having a child is a big responsability and if you and your partner are ready for a child I see no harm in it at all. It took me 12 years to get pregnant with my second child. I am 16 weeks today...Wish you lots of luck and just remember it'll happen and if it dont theres always other ways to have children.
