I'm dating this girl just started, and where both fallin head over heels for each other, shes a little skinny girl, and shes 5 months pregnant, with another mans babe, not mine of coarse because I didn't know her at the time. She hates the guy, but she will not kill one of gods creatures she will have the baby no matter what, she hopes its a girl we find out soon, she wants a girl because she doesn't want the father to be in her life, and if its a boy shes scared that he might wanna see his kid, when she hates him! Anyway, I guess im taking it with a grain of salt, its not my baby but im going to sure as hell love it like it was!

I think that is really cool of you to be so supportive of your girlfriends pregnancy, since its not yours. I am pretty sure that if she doesnt put his name on the birth certificate he basically wont have any rights to the baby, unless he went to a hell of alot of trouble to prove thru the courts-dna testing.
On the other hand be careful of taking any legal responsability of this child, like putting your name on the birth certificate unless you are getting married because if for some reason the relationship doesnt work out then you could be left with a 18 years of child support payments for a child that isnt even yours.

Ur a good man to do that. Lots of guys won't get involved with pregnant girls. And a lot of guys run when their girl gets pregnant and the baby is theirs. So I think ur doing a really good thing. Congrats. And good luck.

I agree with lily, vee and teresa....But I can't help think that this baby deserves to know who his/her father is. You said she doesn't want the baby's father to see him/her, why? Also, why would it make a difference whether it's a boy or girl???

That is a good point about the rights of the biological father. Also just wondering why she hates him so much. Was he abusive, a drug user or something like that causing her to not want him to be in the picture???

Yay For You!
A friend of mine basically had the same story, except that she was the mommy in the picture. The biological father still denies the baby, even though they had a court-ordered paternity test proving his involvment. He's also gotten another girl pregnant since this happened. But my friend and her boyfriend and her baby girl are the cutest little family. You wouldn't know that he isn't her biological father because she does sort of look like him. My friend read somewhere that you look like who you grew up with, and I have 2 cases in which it seems to be true. He couldn't love that baby anymore if she were physically his.

Yeah!
There's a picture of my stepfather's adoptive father that he has in a frame at his house and everyone who sees the picture looks at it and comments on how much he looks like his father, and he's not really his father!

My brother's friend was also adopted and you could never tell. He looks a little like both of his adoptive parents.

It's so amusing to me!

Looking Like Your "real" Parents
When I use the word "real" for describing parents, I mean the ones that raised the child.

My other case of the baby or kids looking like who they grow up with is this little girl and her big sister in my church. The little girl is 2 and her sister is 4 (i think) and everybody comments on how much they look like "grandma". The funny part is, she's not their biological grandmother. Their dad is a child from the first marriage of "grandpa". So these kids have none of her blood in them. But it's cute because they do sort of look alike.

These kids have had a hard life, and now they're being raised by grandma and grandpa, so it's plausible.

I know two cases of that too. My friend's dad (actually her stepdad) has been in her life since she was 5 and everyone always says how she looks like him when really that's not possible. And also these two girls that I know are both adopted from russia but they're not actually blood related and they still look a lot like each other and they look just like their mom. It's insane! I thought they were at least blood sisters but they're not.

I could prove its not my child that be a snap, but right now im just so happy, I think its sucks the sperm giver couldn't be the one with all the joy, I really don't understand why he just didn't stand up! Anyway, I am very happy for her and very excited!
