Outtie Vs. Innie? Posted: 10-25-05 09:13am
So I see pictures of katie holmes'
supposedly 3 months pregnant belly and am
really surprised to see that her belly
button has popped. I know that there is
speculation about how far along she
actually is (experts have weighed in at
about 5 months) but it made me wonder
about how far along are you when your
belly button pops out like that.
Does this only happen to women who already
have outtie belly buttons (and if so, when
typically) or does it eventually happen to
all women regardless of whether they have
an outtie or innie to begin with.
I am an innie and just assumed that the
belly button would spread but not pop.
Just curious

Hey, everyone in my family has innies and
the ladies who have gotten pregnant all
have had the same thing happen to their
bellybutton.
The top half has popped out a little but
not much. It kinda just comes out a
little and looks kinda spread, and the
bottom also looked a little spread out. I
think that's what's going to happen to me,
but it depends on each person and how big
their bellies are and the shape of the
belly and all sorts of things.
Some women have innies and their belly
button never pops. It all depends. :)

If you have an innie then when you are
pregnant and your belly starts to grow
then you might get an outie. It happens
to some people but not all. It goes back
to normal after the baby is born.
