Okay need to know about this one as my friend is having trouble......

My buddy needs b/c but they wont give it to her unless she has a pap, is there any particular important reason for this??? She doesnt want to get prego and would like some protection with bf is there anything else she can do??? My friend cant use latex due to an allergy and is presently using spermacide (which we dont think is really anyform of protection) anyone have any advice????
