Extremely eHealthy

With my daughter I tore and and actually healed within 1 week but I was always up and walking. I have heard horror stories about episiotomies and really wish to avoid this for # 2.......................Does the dr need to ask you before he can perform one and is there anything besides perinial massage you can do???????
