When Was the First Time You Felt Your Little One Kick? Posted: 10-28-05 16:11pm
Im on my 15th week now, and im just
wondering if its possible to feel your
little one move at this stage coz
sometimes I feel like little flutters
although not that frequent, and ive heard
that you normally feel its movements by
16th week onwards? Could it happen?
Or is it just my hypothalamus(dont even
know if I spelt it right) making me think
like this?
Can anyone enlighten me? Cheers!

At first I didn't realize those "gas"
feelings I was having was the baby moving.
But like jamie says when they turn into
real kicks, oh my lord, you will know!

At 15.5 weeks I got my first kicks. Then
I went until 18 weeks without feeling
anything. Now at 19 weeks, I can pretty
much feel her daily. While they are
kicks, I would describe them more as
thumps since they aren't that hard yet.

I will be 16 weeks this coming tuesday.
On saturday night while I was laying on
the couch I felt a little thump right
under my belly button. I am almost
positive this was my little one. Last
friday I had an ultrasound. The little
one is laying stright up and down below my
belly button. It was moving around in
there like crazy! I got a nice foot shot
because it put its little foot right up
against my outter uterine wall. This all
supports my belief that what I felt last
night (saturday) was indeed the first real
kick.
