a Few Questions

My girlfriend and I have been having some symptoms for a while now. We both have real pale skin, dark eye circles, she's gotten skinny in the face and arms/legs. We both have stomach problems all the time. I used to have rashes pop up on my arms and legs, always in the same spot, then they would leave. I always feel congested in my sinuses, and my throat feels like its burning a lot of the time. I have pain coming from my calves, stomach, sides, back, and arms. A lot of symptoms that scare me. The last time I would have been at risk was over 2 years ago, and I was tested for hiv last november and I was negative. I was very impatient so I called my doctor the night after the test and asked if he had my results and he told me that it was negative after a long pause. Is is possible my doctor gave me the results before he actually new them? I'm really scared because my girl swears she hasnt cheated on me, and I havent cheated on her. Also she has just recently developed a decent sized red bump down towards her vagina. It doesnt look like herpes, or anything else that I have ever seen for that matter.....

Sorry for the long post, but I need some serious advice.

Get tested again if your nervous about it; but maybe don't do it at your doctor's. Go somewhere where you don't know anyone so they will have no reason not to tell you the truth. On a side note, hiv has no symptoms what so ever. You should consult your doctor about what might be causing these problems for you.

Where have you read that hiv has no symptoms? Hiv has many symptoms man. The might not show up right away, or might not be noticable at first, but there are definately symptoms to hiv.

There are no true symptoms, but rather "signs" that may suggest that you have hiv. Acute hiv syndrome (flu-like) often develops in people within a month or so after becoming infected, but it is not always present, and the effects are few and far between. The only sure fire proof that is a "sign" is a decreased white blood cell count on account of it (aids). While some people so develop more frequent infections in the chest and otherwise, many others go without knowing they have hiv until it's to late. Hiv reacts differently in everyone, for this reason, many people suggest that there are no true symptoms of hiv. Sure there are tests that can be run to prove whether or not you have hiv, but a symptom is a something that the person can physically or visually experience or feel without a test.
