I have been smoking marijuana heavily for
about a year now. I really want to stop
smoking and it just seems to be draining
me, and my pockets. I believe that I have
been depressed for a while now becuase of
my addiction. If someone could please
help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Blayne…
i read your post, and here is my take.
Pot isn’t in the strictest sense
addictive, but it is a drug.
And with most illegal drugs, we take them
to change the way we feel.
That, of course begs the question, what is
so wrong with the way I feel now that I
want to change it all the time? Why do I
feel the need to feel something
different?
There is a school of thought that states
that we are suffering from a disease
who’s main symptom is an acute
discomfort with stark naked content. And
the cure for that disease is to take a
honest look at who I truly am, make amends
for the harm I have done to others in the
past, and be of service to someone else,
get out of myself.
In doing those things, I became much more
satisfied with who I was. I don’t feel
the need to alter my perceptions today,
and I am glad of it. But I did the things
I mentioned above and I stayed willing to
grow spiritually.
Richard
p.S.
I smoked dope relatively non stop from the
summer of 1969 until about five years ago.

I would recomend two things
1) psychodelic therapy- the use of
psychodelic drugs to cure you
imperfections, actually when I wanted to
quit I used psychodelic therapy and I saw
what it was doing to me and I just didnt
have the drive to do it.
2) smoke something else, cigarettes I
smoke them to now but atleast its legal
hope this helps

Which one is a lie?
The growing spiritually and giving up the
alusion of living better through
chemistry?
Or the interesting but ultimately futile
attempt to find myself through
psychedelics?
Or the just lame idea that cigarettes are
anything like a valid substitute for
reefer?
On the road to the good stuff,

"i smoked daily for last 5 years. I quit
10 days ago, and im not having
problems"...This is not true I think, I
have four doing it days without smoking
and im feeling bad more and more. The
psycodelic may be a solution, but is
another drug, so well, depends on how
mature you are dealing with it, may work
for some and may not work for others.
