Hi,
i am new to these forums but i've been
doing some research online about the
following issue but would like to know as
many opinions abuot it as possible because
I am honestly freaking out.
My girlfriend is 21 and has been
complaining about breast sorenes and
tenderness from both breasts. She says
its when she presses her breasts on the
outside from underneath the armpit.
This started about a week before her last
period wich started around october
13-15th. But the soreness has not stopped
scince it started.
She has been on the bcp yasmin for the
past 2-3 months and has only complained of
this pain once and only right before her
period, it has never extended this long.
She has missed the pill on 2 or 3 ocasions
but takes it as soon as she remembers or
takes 2 that night. We use condoms most
of the time we are together, and the times
we don't, I never go inside her, I
understand about the precum containing
sperm but I ussually stop early. We have
only been together twice scince her last
period but she might be worried that is
from before.
She has had no other symptoms of pregnancy
but I am still freaking out.
Could this breast soreness be associated
with pregnancy or could it be something
else?
Does missing the pill at random points on
the month and taking it the next day
affect its protection?
Please help.

that went away about a week ago.

I suggest you go to the Dr.
Tender breasts are a sign of pregnancy but
they could also mean something else. If
her period was short and light and the
color of the blood was different than she
is used to then it could be implantation
bleeding (if the blood is brown-ish or
pink-ish)
not to scare you, but my mother was having
sore breasts when she was in her 30's and
she had discomfort under her armpits
towards her breasts. It turned out to be
breast cancer. So really go get checked
out.
Another thing could be the pills that are
causing that. Talk to your Dr. Find out
what the problem is and if it's the pills
then maybe she can switch to another brand
of pills.

Thanks for the reply. Her last period was
normal.
She says shes been peen alot today, and I
am getting seriously scared...
