Hey it is not possible to have your "period" if you are pregnant. Although you can still experience bleeding which is also known as "implantation bleeding" that many people may mistake for their regular period. The difference with implantation bleeding is it is lighter, sometimes pinkish, light red or even brownish in color. It doesn't last as long as your usual menstrual period, and if it is in fact implantation bleeding you shouldn't use the same amount of pads or tampons. Bleeding does occur during pregnancy. It could be implantation bleeding from what you described.
