I'm So Scared
Posted: 10-30-05 13:21pm

Me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby for about 3-4 months but I am not getting pregnant.. I think I could have stds in which case I have had them for over a year and I could be infertile.. My vagina hurts internally during sex then after and during urination (urination straight after sex) my vagina really burns.. Please could someone help me with whats wrong because i'm so scared.. Thank you

I would go to the doctor std's is a very serious matter and you need to be treated and get the care that you need. With medicine that we have today if you did have std's then you could still have a baby and a safe pregnancy. Plus keep yourself safe in the process.

Do you plan on marrying this guy? If not, it isn't a very good idea to be trying to have a baby with him. You need to go to the doctor if you think that you have std's.

i feel that you should have went to a doc. Asap because now you possibly have infected your bf. And also are you 100% sure it was from your ex rather than your current bf? Because std's dont have an accuracy date n they cant be tested for who gave it to u. I hope you dont have one, and I hope you do get your baby. Also it could be that your bodies arent ready yet. How old are you

oh kay im sorry for assuming. But your pains could be from a bladder infection, or a ovarian cyst (that could be a reason you cant get pregnant) because it could be blocking your fallopian tubes. But are you both sure you can handle the finiancial, and emotional costs of having a child??? And unless your relationship is really strong, it may not last if your pregnant, your hormones may make you guys fight alot! But do get the test asap. If it comes up negative, get a pap smear and an ultrasound and see if the doc can determine why your having pains. :d good luck and best wishes to u

sry you and your bf never did oral or did oral? If you did that shouldnt make you burn unless hes has oral with someone else (before you). And the burning stoping could mean you have bladder infection, I had it b4 and did think it was an std so I got tested for all std's and had a urine and u/s done, they found only the bladder infection and I was clean so goodluck im hoping your clean too!

Possible Uti Infection
Posted: 11-01-05 16:46pm

It sounds like a urinary tract infection, I would make an appt with your doctor asap and try not to get yourself freaked out about it. It def sounds more like a uti then any stds.

I"m 17 also and I actually had the same thing as u but in my case I could also be pregnant. Only because we didn't use a condom and I forgot my pill i'm telling u right now that wanting a baby and actually careing for a baby wont be that easy. I aint trying to tell u no to have a baby because I can;t only because I might be having one i'm just saying I seen my brother and his gf and he got a full time job making really good money and they still sometimes find it hard. We should trade e-mails and talk more

I am 25, married and we both have great full time jobs. But a baby cost a lot of money. And it gets worse as they get older. Are you sure that you are ready? You bf is only 16 years old!!! How do you kow that it won't be too much for him and he leaves you after the baby comes? Guys don't mature as fast as girls and he might decide he wants to finish high school and leave you. Are you ready to raise a baby alone? Even as a married women in a strong christian relationship I still have to ask myself can I do this alone if my husband were not here and you know what I would probably have to move back in with my parents if my husband were to ever leave me and I have a great job with a college degree! Please think about your future- when I was 17- which hasn't been that long ago- I wanted things in my life that were totally dirrerent than what I want now. Please think about your future.
