Sebaceous Papules - Please Help

Anything ever come up?

Not much. I did find out that it usually effects older people. I still have found nothing that relates it to your genital area though. The few things that I have found talk about it as being a skin disease of the face.

Could you explain what it looks like; and I can see if I can find anything that meets your discription rather than the name.

It is white-ish skin colored bumps that you cant feel unless you stretch the skin or have an erection then they feel alittle hard, but they are all over and some there are like 5-7 bumps in a row, like right next to eachother and some are by them selves while others are in patches, there are quite a few of them



ps: accouple days ago I seen one that was bigger then the others ones while I was in the shower and I poped it and white stuff came out, acouple days later it went away and never got any worse

Are you sure it's not sebaceous prominence, that is a very common thing for guys...

I think I have those, but they are teeny and I have them only on my shaft not on top of my ´penis. And they are all same sized, and dont get bigger. I dont think we are talking about the same things, but I do have small white bummps. Not notisable tho. How big are yours, very big?

The white bumps (if they look like zits) are normal, don't worry about them. If they look like the ones in the picture, than it would be se4baceous prominence.

Go to your doc. I have the same thing, on the shaft and sack. The doc said they were sabacleus glands (sp?) and hair follicles.... I showed him a paper with the name from my research and he said it was that too.... I dont rember the name but I remember people kept referring to it is "ppp" somthing like 'pearly... ..." I dono. But they arent contagous and theres no real way to get rid of it. If a chick has a problem with it then shes not worth it. Besides, I saw some porn once when the guy had it... So its not so bad. My bigger ones can pop too (occasionly) and it come out as a more solid of a white substance. Im talking about it alot becuase a few years ago I was flipppping out scared and just know that you'll be alright kid. The government of canada site has some info on it.. Yeah I beleaive we were all cursed with this, I just wish there was some way to get them off

Quest... No, this doenst come from lack of hygene. We're in the same boat, im nearig 17 too. Telling your parents wont make a difference, I told mine because they're fairly open, infact, she dropped me off at the docs when I was 14, she knew I had been freaking out about it for quite some time. And after the doc said they were sacacleus pauples (or however you spell them) and that damn near every guy has it and you cannot get rid of them then I told my mother and she laughed at me for not asking her in the first place because she knew that. They secrete oils and such so your foreskin and sack dont dry up. Some people may have them on their sack as I do. And if you look closely enough some are hair follicles. Now, being a teen and so self-concious.. Heres my advice: before you have sex, show them tothe gal and explain the situation. Shes not worth it if she leaves.

Somthing that may have crossed your mind in the past is that you dont see them in porn shoots. Well, the main reason is that damn near all the guys are circumsized and they generaly look for guys that have them less pronounced. And lastly, I once saw one with a guy who wasnt circumsized and he did have them. Hope this helps. Just keep in mind that there is no cure as they are apart of your body... They have functions besides butifying your shaft for the ladies.
