Hair Loss At 13 Posted: 11-02-05 17:14pm
Im 13 years old and my hair is thinning to
the extent I can see right through it,
what can I do to treat it or thicken it?
Is there a surgery I can have? :(

Surgery? No. It's most likely
hereditary (which you won't really be able
to do much about) or it is caused by
stress. Do you have a high stress level
in your life?

I'm seeing a dermotologist this month to
check things out, and from what I hear i'm
at the prime for this to be treated and im
told that there could be treatments to
counter this.

Thats a good idea to get that checked out
b/c 13 year old sshouldnt be losing alot
of hair. U shed 100 hairs a day but if
your hair is getting very thin then there
is something wrong or you are realy
stressed out
