I have had a heart attack when I was 33
years old, the cardiologist used a balloon
to press the plaque agains the wall and
then 3 1/2 years later I had a second
heart attack with a complete blockage to
my right artery. Apparantly the left
artery grew collateral branches to feed
the right side of my heart after the
blockage. They say my heart has 20%
damage to it now. I am now taking 80 mg
of lipitor, 7.5mg of plavix, half an
aspirin, prinovil, 1000mg of folic acid
and zetia each day. It's been two years
now since my 2nd heart attack and I am
experiencing chest pain accompanied by
gas. Burping seems to help make the chest
pain go away. I find that if I sit for
hours at work the gas builds up and
walking makes me burp and feel better.
Sometimes I feel I may be having another
heart attack as my arm and chest will feel
painful but then I walk and burp and it
goes away. Is this a normal condition
after two heart attacks?
