Night-mares Posted: 11-04-05 17:44pm
A lady that my mother works with had many
abortions (6 a believe) and once she
settled down and got married and tried for
a baby, she couldn't get pregnant....Still
to this day, 7 years later, she has no
child. I believe this is .God's way of
punishing her for doing this. My best
friend had an aportion 2 years ago and has
nightmares everynight about having a child
and someone killing it while she lies
there helpless....Again, this just may be
.God's way of punishing. I was pregnant
with my boyfriend's (now husband) baby but
thought that it was my ex boyfriends since
we had just broke up recently. I was
very upset by this and for the first time
in my life was all for abortion. I
called and had one schelduled and was more
then ready to kill this child. My
reasons were not good ones but they were
because I am white and the father would
have been black and my family would dis
own myslef and the child, I was in love
with my new boyfriend and didn't want to
have a baby with someone else. I started
to cramp very very badly the night before
the aportion and went to the hospital, I
found out that I was miscarrying. They
did an internal ultra sound and told me
that I couldn't have been more then about
three weeks along. I was crushed. If I
was only that far along then the child had
to have been my boyfriends (now husband).
I believe that because I was going to
have an abortion just becasue of my
pathitic reasons, .God took away the child
I could have had with my husband. The
.Lord did give us a 2nd chance though, we
now have a three month old baby boy and I
thank .God for that everyday. The point
of this post was simply to share my
story...Not to start a fight.
God bless and good luck,
teresa

Thank you.... There are alot of people
who believe that it doesnt mentally hurt a
person at all.. Or that it doesnt effect
a person. Here is another story to tell
you that abortion does and can hurt wether
it is mental or not

.God does not hurt people for fun.
We are taught lessons in life to make us
stronger. If we never hurt we would not
know what it was like to feel good.
Life isn't easy and this is .God's way of
teaching a
lesson.
please don't shove jesus down my throat
but... What if we aren't christian? I
can possibly see their being karma
relating to the first lady who had 6
freakin abortions; but that was damage
done to her body by the multiple
procedures. That damage was done to a
human by a human, and had nothing to do
with god. She was apparently not
mentally distraught over the abortions,
until she realised that her poor choice of
birth control meant she'd never be able to
have a baby of her own. I do think she
thoughroully deserves her fate.
I'm not going to psychoanalyse you or your
friend, but... Your friend sounds like
she could use someone to talk to, a
councelor of some kind. As for you, it's
entirely possible that your stress and
anxiety over the daddy of your baby may
have induced the misscarriage. Stress
can do that, especially in the early weeks
of pregnancy. I am very sorry for you in
that case, it's a genuinly sad thing to
happen to a woman who wants a child. I'm
relieved that you now have a child with
your husband :)
however, there are many women who have
just one abortion for very good reasons,
and they move on just fine, they live
their lives, and are happy. I don't want
to fight either, i'm just sharing my
opinions.

Well the only thing that I can say is that
someone above thought she deserved to have
a child... Maybe she didnt know any
better, maybe no one ever explained to her
what she was doing to her body.. Just a
thought

ah, another anti-choicer who thinks
abortion is okay when *she* has an
unwanted pregnancy.
I aborted 17 years ago and have no
negative effects - no nightmares, guilt
feelings, nada. It was the right decision
for me and all concerned.

he doesn't "hurt us for fun" he punishes
us for our wrong doings. Abortion is
wrong. It is not the babies fault
he/she is unwanted. Even in a rape
situation, the baby did nothing wrong and
it is still a killing. Millions of
people want babies, but can't have
them....If you don't want your baby, drop
it off at the hospital or something.
Don't kill it.

ever watched a video of an abortion?
From the time of conception the baby is
alive and can feel. It can feel it's
little body being ripped to pieces and
taken out. You know, when they take it
out if it's still alive, they smother it
until it dies. How can you say that's
not killing?
I have a question, something off topic but
is stillmehere a woman?
Stillmehere comes across as a man to
me...... He/she doesn't seem to have a
heart..... Not saying men aren't caring,
but seem to less emotional and sensitive
to issues regarding abortion.

Do those of you who believe abortion is
wrong - do you put a pet animal down when
it is cruel to let it live. Before you
say that there is nothing wrong with
killing an animal, in the end it amounts
to the same thing. (just think about it
before you abuse the living hell out
me).
Back to the topic.....
I agree with you all that any women who
has 6 abortions does not deserve to have a
child. Abortion should not be used as
birth control

shoving .Jesus down your throat. But
like you said....Call it karma or whatever
floats your boat, having 6 abortions
probably is not going to weigh good on
that 7th child. What did she expect.
That the baby for sure 100% be born
healthy? Yes, it's sad she lost the
child, no woman deserves that, but with
that being said there are woman that do
not deserve children and she was one of
them. She doesn't decide what baby to
kill or not and think everything is going
to be peachy keen. She has killed 6
times. In my eyes, her fate will be
more extreme in the future than losing the
7th. Everything in life has to do with
.God. I realize you don't believe in
.God and we magically appeared here
(laugh), but I believe that everything
revolves around .God.
*buzzer noise* wrong, evolution and the
big bang aren't magical, they're science.
Saying some diety came down and made a
clay model and then he "magically" made it
come to life, now that's perposterous.

"that damage was done to a human by a
human". Are you saying that it's the
babies fault that the woman's body is
damaged???
and nooo... The doctor who aborted her
babies did it to her, and she did it to
herself by chosing to have that many
abortions.

i've never heard of an abortive process
that smothers the baby. Most of them
either abort it via medicine, chopping it
up in the womb, or partial birth (and by
that point it's unethical in my opinion.
20 weeks is my cut off.) none of those
involve suffocation.
And I believe it is killing, but the zef's
life is less worthy that the mother's. I
do feel we have the right as thinking
creatures to make that desicion. Hey, you
say we're better than the meat we eat? I
say we're better than an un-developed zef.

you can prove this can you,not being funny
but you just made an absolutist statement
about a subject that has baffled science
for years and still there is no definite
proof about how we came into
existence,religion says god,but that
leaves plenty of questions,science says
evolution yet cannot link it all
together,remember the missing link.So
sorry you cannot just say it is
preposterous for god to have made man,a
theory that has been around a lot longer
than science's view on things.

tough chit. I'm not a broodmare for the
barren, i'm not putting my body thru the
trauma of gestation and childbirth just so
someone can have a lily white baby. Let
them adopt one of the thousands of
children needing homes. Or they can adopt
a dog or a cat from a shelter and save a
born animal from death.
