I am having a hysterectomy on the 29th. I am having painful cramps and this is my last option. I need to know if it will be worth all the time and money. Please help!!!

Lynnette39, I think it is worth it. Aside from no more pain there's no more periods, you can save money on all those matteress, lol. See my reply to hottie for my story. Good luck on the 29th.

I had a hystercomy about 8 weeks, and believe me the first couple of weeks were hard and I questioned my decision. I still have occasional spotting and bleeding and after sex. But I wouldn't change my decession. I bets having 2 heavy periods a month, severe cramping that keep me from work sometime and to add. I had pre-cancerous cells stage 3. And i'm only 30. I would recommended the surgery in time from others I have talked to once your body get use to the change it will be the best decision you could have made.
