I have been on the pill for 5 years + now.
The last couple of months I have missed
my first pill and took two on the second
day like advised. My boyfriend and I
have unprotected sex because I am
allergic/sensitive to latex. I had my
last period beginning nov 18, which was
not only 1 day early...But only lasted
about 1 day and not very heavy. About a
week afterward I noticed slight bleeding
after intercourse. Since then I have
experienced many symptoms....I have been
very moody, have thrown up and felt
butterflies in my stomach for about 2
weeks now. I have also noticed a whitish
discharge that I normally do not have. I
have also been extremely thirsty.
Is it possible that I am preg, even after
being on the pill for so long? And will
I be able to tell now if I take a hpt?
My period is not due til the 17th, but I
believe I may have been preg since before
the last period??? I don't know if the
anxiety I am experiencing due to my fear
is making me think that I am preg? I
have a Dr. Appointment tomorrow...But
will the hospital test be any different
than tha home version?

I am also very worried that I might be
pregnant! I am using condoms with my
husband, but there is always a chance. I
am only 19 and in nursing school and have
become really scared of what the reality
is. My period is irregular and sometimes
doesn't come for a while so it doesn't
make things easy. However it has been
like 52 days since my normal period. I
spotted about a week ago for 2 days. I
have had increased vaginal discharge for
like the past two months..And it is not an
infection..I have had them before. I
also feel like I never want to eat
breakfast anymore (weird because I used to
love breakfast). I am so scared by the
way. Lately at night I feel like a
become more dizzy after walking around a
lot or after dinner and I have been
nauseated, but have never thrown up.
Then yesterday when I was having sex I
felt like a bad pressure on the inside
when he went really far. Ahhh! I don't
know what to do! Am I freaking out? Oh,
I seem to sleep a lot, but that could be
because of nursing school.... What to
do.. What to do... If anyone has any
advice for me and ab9007 I am sure we
would appreciate it! Trust me! I look on
this site everyday! Thanks!

Ok.... Well my girlfriend is somewhere
around 10 days late for her cycle. Our
first time having sex was not too long
ago, around the 19th of november, and its
now the 9th of december. Now I wasnt too
worried after about 3 days, and I wasnt
worried at all cuz I never went off inside
her, even when I did wear condoms. Now
she did just get the flu, would that have
anything to do with it? My whole town has
the flu. Now can she have the late cycle
this early?? Some1 help, plz. It would b
greatly appreciated!

Condems are only 80% effective in
preventing pregnancy (appx.).
If at anytime you did not wear a condom
(regardless of whether you ejaculate
inside her), your girlfriend can still get
pregnant. Sperm comes out prior to
ejaculation, that you may not even notice,
and certainly can cause pregnancy.

Well did you use protection? It looks
like she can be pregnant. Why dont you
take her to get a test done. You can get
it from the store or just take her to the
doctor for a test. She could be just late
but you never know. Good luck.

You could be pregnant? Yes you can take a
pregnancy test. There are tests out now
that can test hcg level as early as a week
before your period is due. But it may be
better to wait and see if you miss the
upcoming period. However, sometimes peace
of mind is well worth the price of a test!
Let me know.
Also note that period symptoms and
pregnant symptoms can be the same.
