I had a one night thing with a girl of
unknown hiv status.( I have hpv but I am
not seeing any signs of warts on my
penis.) I had unprotected sex with this
girl for like 7 seconds and that I
stopped. What is my chance of getting
infected if the girl was infected. I am
on my 16th day so far after haveing sex
with her.
Ho easy hiv transmitted from females to
males?
Please tell me what you think I am very
very scared and would respect your hones
opinion.

If any of her bodily fluids made their way
into your bloodstream (ie: via penis) your
chances are pretty good, but there is no
gaurentee. When in doubt, get tested.
Chances are you won't notice any
"symptoms" after just 16 days as they can
take a bit of time to develop.

Research studies shows that the
probability of transmission from male to
female is much higher than female to male,
as the chances of exchange of fluids is
much greater in the latter case.
If you are worried at this 16 day mark,
you can get tested to develop the
confidence in you. Do not expect to see
symptoms and get scared looking at the
mirror. Many changes that took place in
your body could have gone unnoticed looks
scary now , because you have educated
yourself with something which you were not
aware of earlier. But do not worry .
However, you may have to wait for the
window period, which is 3 months and get
tested again to comfirm upto 95%.

Yeah, the symptoms are known to ssometimes
not to show up for up 10 years, while in
others it's a few months.

I got tested with pcr dna at 30 days after
exposure the result was negative. I am
getting tested again this coming monday
with oraquick antibody whici will be 7
weeks and 2 days by that time.
How do u feel about my pcr dna test??
How is a 7 week anitbody test?
Nowadays I had a flu sore throat and today
milde temperature. But during the time I
ahd these symptoms I was going to the gym
so it might even be because I am pushin my
self I ahve temperature.

You know what I was just talking to a man
at the Health Department and he said that
some people doesn't always catch HIV the
first time with a sexual partner. Me on
the other hand should be worried I of had
only two sex partners one of them I use a
condom with always and the other I never
really don't and I know he messing around
with other girls I been sleeping around
with him for about 3 years but I always go
to the clinic to get tested and the last
time we had sex was in december but I got
tested again in march but for some reason
I really never worry about him giving me
anything what comes to my mind is
pregancy. So I hope this help ease your
mind
