I got a quiston what is inverto fertlazation can't spell and would it be consedered surgery when you get it done?

My aunt had it done and I believe it is minor surgery invitro fertilization (aka test tube baby) is when they remove an egg from you and the fertilize it ouside the womb, once it has been fertilized they put it back in the uterus. My aunt told me the tricky part is hoping it attaches to the wall of uterus so it can begin process and she said it can cost alot if it doesnt work the first time...... Jess
