I've herd that cos of the hormones in ur
body,u can get pregnant quite soon
after.I've also herd it can stop women
from having more children.I guess it
depends on: when did u have it? And how
far gone were u?

I've gone through this and I cried leaving
the clinc and for days after.
But I got pregnant again 2 months later.
It isn't a matter of how long it will take
it can happen the following month. It
depends on how long you choose to give
your body time to recover. Good luck!!

I am not trying to sound cruel, but what
the heck? You just had an abortion, you
regret it, so now you want to get pregnant
right away? If you were not ready to
have the one that you "terminated" then
why do you want to jump right into getting
pregnant again? I understand that you
feel badly and what not, but what is done
is done. If you want to have a baby I
would wait at least a year or two now.
The reasons that you did not want a baby
just a short while ago could not have
changed this soon. But good luck with
whatever you do.

I agree with saturn. I mean you got rid
of the last one, and you want to try
again? Being pregnant and having a baby
is not a game to see if you want to do it
again. Its a real thing. Its not being
pregnant, its raising a baby for the next
18 years. And you will be responsible.
You cant keep terminating them. I would
give it more time before you try again.
And think more on it.

Yup, I agree with the last ccouple
responses. You just terminated a
pregnancy, and your main worry is when you
can try it again? This is a life we're
talking about. Really, take your time,
heal and whatnot, and maybe when you know
you are in a better position, think about
having another child.

Im kinda shocked that some1 cud change
their mind so quickly-one minute ur
'getting rid' of ur baby, the next ur
trying 4 another.Maybe u just want this
one cos u feel guilty about the other one
& u think it'll sort of be a
replacement.I dont know...................

You should wait 6 weeks, like after having
a baby to have sex...And as for having a
baby, the proper time would be a year...To
let your baby heal, to help in having a
healthy baby.
Good luck,

I agree wit what half of them are sayin.
U just had an abortion so wait till u're
more mature 2 consider havin a child. I'm
a teen mother myself and my situation was
hard but I choose to have my daughter.
It's not the childs fault that u're
decidin to abort them. It's u'res 4
gettin preg-o wit out carin.
I'm not tryin 2 sound ig, but it's the
truth havin a child is not a game. Think
bout what people say. Good luck!!!

Babies After Abortion

You can get pregnant as soon as 2 weeks
after you have the procedure done. They
generally give you a couple of packs of
birth control when you have it done. The
key is going to your doctor before those
run out to get a full year's worth. But,
almost immediately, you can have a
child...And the procedure will not effect
your birth.
