Q: Low Hcg Doubling Rate

I have a hcgs of 358 19 days after lh and 532 21 days after lh. This means i'm only doubling every 3.4 days. Should I prepare myself for a miscarriage?

Please advise - am going slightly mad waiting for the next test scheduled for 3 days from now!

I have heard of things like that happening and baby being just fine. Think pos for the baby sake. It should be just fine

I had a miscarriage earlier this year. I have read that hcg levels should double every 48 hours during the first 6 weeks of gestation. And just the same - during miscarriage the hcg level should half-life every day (for ex: on one day your levels would be 300, then the very next day 150, then the next day after that 75, and so on...). So as long as your levels are going up, that is good news. I hope everything turns out. I will be thinking of you! Keep us posted. Hollie
