Back Pains Posted: 11-11-05 18:20pm
Right now I am having the worst back pain
of my life. It even hurts to walk. I
can't even pick up my 2 year old. What
could be causing all of this pain?

How far along are you? I am 35 weeks and
I have been having new and horrible back
pain since 32 wks or so. I was even
getting the pain with contractions. My
doc said it is just b/c I am later in
pregnancy. I have a two year old also and
picking her up is a rare thing. I sit on
a heating pad when ever my little one lets
me sit. That helps for a little bit. But
I think it is just b/c of the later stages
of pregnancy.

Early Posted: 11-11-05 19:37pm
I'm just 12 weeks and it's killing and my
little boy thinks mommy is supposed to
hold him 24/7. Today he layed on me and
went to sleep, something that never
happens. But back to the pain. With all
of my pregnancys I have contractions early
and my back always hurts. I don't want to
go to the hospital and the same thing
happens.

If you are having contractions early that
is probably what is causing the pain. I
know we all have contractions throughout
our whole pregnancies but I have never
heard of someone feeling them that early.
I would talk with your doctor but in the
mean time take some tylenol. My doc said
I could take motrin up till 28 wks. I
never did b/c I hate taking any meds while
I am preg. But that is what I would do.
Oh, also have you ever been to a
chiropractor? I love mine. I have
scoliosis so if I didn't have him I think
I would have a lot more pain.
