Is it true that sperm takes like 24 hours to regenerate?

I'm not sure but I think it's something like that. That's why they say if you are ttc not to have sex a few days before ovulation so that his lil swimmers are nice and strong.

A friend of mine who was having trouble concieving was told by the dr to have sex every second day to give the sperm a change ro regenerate
