I am almost 26 weeks pregnant now and have had cramping and lower back pain which I now know are normal..But here is the thing..I get heart burn really bad from my pre-natal vitamins to where I can not even get comfortable at night it gets so bad that I have to throw up. If I fight it at night as soon as I wake up in the morning the feeling is right there again waiting. So I went off of my prenatals this week...The heart burn is till there but not as bad, and I have not thrown uo once...But now I have lost my appetite..I could eat once a day and be fine...If I eat a hamburger I feel so full that I can barely stand it..As with everything else..Eating has become something that I have to make myself do..I am not a small woman either so it's not like I never ate before..I love to eat...Is this normal or has anyone had this problem?

I would tell your dr & have him switch your prenatal vitamins. That might help. But you definately should be taking some kind of vitamins.

Extremely eHealthy
Take maalox, I was having a hard time with heartburn tums, rolaids etc were just candy and I had a presciption for some strong stuff that I cant take while prego. Whatever you do dont take pepto bismol (sorry dont know spelling) as it contains other stuff that could be harmful to pregnancy (ibuprofein and something else) talk with dr they will know what to do.

Thank you everyone for your advice:) I have to go back to the pharmacy today to pick up my prenatals so hopefully I can control the heart-burn with a little medicine...Just wish I could eat again
