Started Period Again After 1 Week?! Help! Posted: 11-13-05 15:00pm
I just started taking birth control. I'm
on this stuff called estrostep, and no one
I know is on it. I started it about a
month ago. I took my "dummy week" a week
ago, meaning I am on the 8th day of my new
pack. I started my period again
yesterday!! I know it cant be
breakthrough because I had the almost the
entire time the first month. This is
like a true flow. I dont know what to do
or what it is. I have taken all of the
pills at the same time everyday. I
wasn't late and I haven't missed a day.
How is this possible if I am taking the
active pills and I had my period a week
ago??
P.S. Could this be linked to the fact
that I have never had regular periods??
Thats why I am on it now, to regulate it.
I would go months without having one.
If anyone knows whats going on please
help!!

Funny....I'm basically having the exact
same problem and i'm getting pretty
worried....However I think mine might just
be breakthrough bleeding. But it has been
going on for 13 days now. And I have
never had a regular period before in my
life either...
