I need some answers here...My first day of my last periods was on the 31st oct. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on the last days of my periods. On the 5th it stopped then continued on the 6th very brownish for a couple hours and stopped again. Am I confusing anyone here? Sorry if I am. Anyway.I did some research on the net and I found out that a woman could get pregnant while on her periods. I also calculated using a website the days I will be ovulating, bet. 11 and 16 and I also saw the sperm can last up to 6 or 10 days in your body.

All I need to know is there a chance I could be pregnant? Is the information I just mentioned true?

to be honest you can get pregnant during any time of your cycle. You can get pregnant b4 ur period, while u r on, and after. According to the online pregnanacy calculator (if ur cycle is average/28 days) your next period is due november 28, 2005. So hold on until then, if its not there within 3-5 days after the 28th....Then you should start to worry.

Here is the correct response!

It's actually not very common for a woman to get pregnant while she's on her period but it could happen. Because an egg lives for about 24 hours (and sperm about 5 days), the easiest time to get pregnant is around the time the ovary releases an egg (ovulates) -- about 12 -16 days after the first day of a woman's period. This can vary a lot so trying to avoid pregnancy by counting days on the calendar is not a very good birth control method.
