Withdrawal And Possible Pregnancy Risk Posted: 11-15-05 12:12pm
I got my period on november 1, 2005. I
have not had any sex at all for the past 3
months. My periods are pretty regular,
every 28 days. On the 14th my boyfriend
tried to have sex. Sorry for being so
graphic. He tried to penetrate me, as
soon as I felt the tip I immediately
(within a second) I pushed him off. I
haven’t had any sex and don’t plan to.
What are my chances of being pregnant.
Is it possible to get pregnant in this
situation?
And when would be the earliest that I can
have the pregnancy test done?

Unless he had semen all over himself when
he penetrated you, then i'd say you have a
very low possibility of being pregnant,
but it's not totally impossible for it to
occur. If you want to test for pregnancy,
you would just need to wait and see if
your period arrives - there are pregnancy
tests you can take if your period is only
1 day late. But try not to stress over
things if you are, because that could make
you miss your period.
I don't know if you and your guy use
protection, but if you're worried about
getting pregnant, definitely use
something. Aside from abstinance, your
next best bet is spermicide, condoms, and
birth control.
Good luck to you, hon. Try not to sweat
it, okay?

Thanks for the information. I think what
freaks me out is the fact that I don’t
want to be pregnant. I keep reading
online and they talk about withdrawal and
pulling out prior to ejaculation.
Whereas, my situation is much different in
that we had foreplay and as soon as I felt
him trying to penetrate I pulled away.
Now the waiting process is the worst and
the scariest.
