I had an ultrasound done this weekend and
it showed a thick lining (thickened
endometrium) with a small black circle in
the center. I've been having light
cramping in my lower abdomen for the past
3 days and have taken 2 hpt's but they are
negative. Could it be too early for a
hpt or if i'm not pregnant what else could
this be? I really hope I am pregnant
:(

Sounds Like a Sac Posted: 11-15-05 15:10pm
I don't wanna say for sure, b/c I can't
see your sonogram, but when my sis in law
was 4 weeks, she had one done. There was
a black circle in the middle that was the
sac. Did they not tell you the results??
They should have told you. I only know
from seeing hers it was a black circle.
She went back 1 week later and there was
the baby and heartbeat. Good luck to
you...Baby dust

Actually, a relative of mine did the
sonogram and he isn't a doctor so he
really didn't know what it was. All he
said was that he thought it could be the
sac as well (since he's seen it before in
other patients). I couldn't tell my
doctor about it because he can get in
trouble for it but anyway I have a
doctor's appointment in 2 weeks if I don't
start my period. When your sister in
law had her sonogram had she taken a
pregnancy test? If so, was it positive
or negative? Thanks for the info :) I
am so hoping that I am pregnant
