You may have implantation bleeding when the fertilized egg attatches itself to the uterine wall - approx 7-10 (maybe even as early as 6) days after conception. But not all women get this. Also, sometimes spotting will occur about the time you were due to get your period.

The baby's heartbeat can be heard around 10 weeks - but if not don't be alarmed. It can be seen around 6-7 weeks with an ultrasound (possibly as early as 5 weeks - but i'm not positive)
