Rank Gas At Night After Starting Antidepressants Posted: 11-17-05 19:19pm
Hi,
after I had my second child, I developed
postpartum depression. I started zoloft
and had really bad smelling gas at night.
I have never experienced anything like
this before. I switched to effexor and
it stopped. However, I couldn't take
that anymore and went back to zoloft.
For a while, I didn't have any of this
nasty gas on 25 mg, but when I was able to
wean myself off the medication, the gas
came back.
Now I am trying celexa and the same thing.
I am 38 and can't figure what happened.
I am starting a chart of foods I eat and
trying to eat more fiber. I also just
started the colonix thing. I can't stand
this and neither can my husband!
Should I just go see a dr or keep trying
to locate the source? It was definitely
odd that I never had gas like this until I
started antidepressants, but even off the
meds, I now have it!
