Hey Ladies a Little Help? =-) Posted: 11-19-05 18:49pm
Hey ladies hope all ur pregnancy's are
going great...I have a couple questions if
u guys dont mind answerin if u can
=-)...My doctors just recently changed my
due date from the 22 to the 22 of nov.(big
change lol)...But lately theve been hooken
me up to monitors for the babys heart beat
n the check my blood pressure along with
the babys beat.. My bloods pressure has
been a little high...Im 39w1d....But also
I cant sleep n havent been able to sleep
in a month of so due to extremee pain down
in that general area...Its not
contractions but it hurts to lift my leg
to turn over in bed,to walk, etc does this
just mean the baby is bout ready to come?
Or is there another reason for this..I
also asked my doctor if it could be due to
dialiting..But she told me that we dont
dialited untill we start haven
contractions n going into labor is this
also true? I dont think it is but... I
thank u ladies for listen to me babbel on
lol im sry...Thank u so much

I'm also 39w1d and I also haven't been
sleeping...The pain is probably because
your baby has engaged and this put more
pressure on your pelvis. Also remember
that you body is changing dramatically to
get ready for delivery and pregancy comes
with all sorts of aches and pains that no
one tells you about. I had to give up
walking very early on in my pregany
because of the pain. The baby sit on
nerves etc and your tendons are stretching
etc.
I'm from australia and we get different
advice then you guys in amercia but I can
tell you that it is quite common for women
to start effacing and dialting before
feeling contractions. I know of women who
have been walking around for three weeks
diated to two cms before labour naturally
starts.
I know in australia that if there is a
chance that you baby is small (is this the
reson your due date was changed) they will
monitor your baby extra closly to make
sure they are growing properly and if
there is any reason for the slow growth.
They also monitor you extra closly if your
blood pressure is high so I wouldn't worry
to much they fact that they are monitoring
you means that if any thing is wrong they
will find it.
I hope this helps... Good luck with
everything
