I Think I Have a Problem...help :( Posted: 11-20-05 15:58pm
I am currently 19 years of age. I have
been masturbating every day or every other
day for 8 years now. Sometimes I went
through phases where I would masturbate
multiple times a day and I think that it
has started to cause problems with how
hard my erection is and how quickly I
ejaculate.
At times, my erection is hard, but lately
I have started to have problems getting
the urethra hard. I don't understand
what it is but I decided that it must be
because of the fact that I may have
over-masturbated over the years. I am
going to try and stop although from what I
hear, its extremely hard to do. Any
ideas on what my problem may be with the
urethra??
Also, while masturbating, I usually only
can masturbate for 5-10 minutes before I
ejaculate. That seems just a touch short
for me. Being in college, I think I
become less comfortable getting closer to
women because I am afraid of what will
happen when I have sex. This could be a
psychological problem but I am not very
sure.
Any help would be great, thanks!

There are a number of threads around here
that are similar to yours. I would say
cut, back, maybe once every 2-5 days or
so, but there's no need to stop
completely, as your problems are probably
not caused completely by masutrbation.
Do you feel nervous when your masturbate
(being at college and all), like that
someone would walk in on you? This might
make keeping your erection somewhat more
difficult. To last longer you might want
to try the stop and go method, or learn
kegels, which with time will allow you to
control when you are ready to
ejaculate/orgasm.
