I have been on ortho lo for a log time and
I liked it. But after this pack I will
be trying alesse. Has anyone been on
the same boat and could tell me what you
thought about alesse.

I was on alesse for a while and I liked it
but after taking for about a year I
started having problems with having a
discharge all the time and some brown
spottingl. Since then I have been on
about 3 other pills.

Alesse is such a low dose that many women
have breakthrough spotting and bleeding.
You are still protected, from what I have
learned, it's just an inconvenience.

My doctor just put me on alesse. I was
wondering if any of you had weight gain
issues while on alesse? I'm a heavy set
girl and didn't really want to be put on
any more weight from the birth control
because, but my doctor put me on it
because my period wouldn't stop. The one
side effect she mentioned was weight gain.
Any feedback?

alesse is lower than
ortho lo and thats what I need a low dose
for mood swings and weight gain and I am
doing fine on ortho lo but I will be going
to alesse, just because they do not carry
ortho lo where I get my pills at. A
lower dose just means you don't need all
that estergen. And that should help your
weigh gain.
